Rosemary | Mugwort Salve
This salve contains Rosemary and Mugwort deeply infused in oil olive oil. These plants have been used traditionally as pain relievers and anti-inflammatories when applied externally to aching or injured joints and muscles.
They are also ancestral plants of the Mediterranean that are known for their magical qualities of protection and dream enhancement.

Rosemary warms and relaxes and is known as a burnable plant that clears sacred space. Rosemary has long been used as a protection plant. It can be burned as incense , worn as an amulet or talisman.It can be woven into a wreath and hung on a doorway. Rosemary was sacred all over the Mediterranean world, including Egypt where it was used as an embalming agent.
Famous Roman and Greek physicians such as Dioscorides and Pliny the Elder included Rosemary in their materia medicas as one of the most valuable medicinal plants available. And Roman priests burned it for purification during ritual ceremonies.
Mugwort is Artemisia vulgaris. The word “artemisia” is derived from Artemis, the Greek goddess. Artemis has been popularly known as the goddess of the hunt, but she is also a moon goddess. Moon goddesses generally correspond to the female reproductive system as well as to the energetic nature of human femininity regardless of the gender of the person. Feminine energy is receptive and intuitive, so this indicates that Mugwort will increase receptive/intuitive capacity.
